Metroid Prime Trilogy coming to Wii

Friday, May 22nd, 2009 by Zach Potts

It was announced today that the entire Metroid Prime series will be available on one disc for the Nintendo Wii on August 24th for a low, low price of $49.99.

The disc will include both Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime: Echoes from the GameCube, as well as Corruption from the Wii, all featuring Corruption’s control scheme, utilizing the Wii’s controls.

Each game will be available to play at anytime from a hub, and there are even added “achievements” in each game which will allow you to unlock artwork, songs, and other goodies. The GameCube games will also feature enhanced graphics.

This announcement isn’t anything too mind blowing, but it’ll be really cool to have all the games on one disc, and be able to play them with the superior Wii controls.

The New Look of Gamers Platform

Sunday, March 29th, 2009 by Ryan L. Lopees

I’ve talked about it and talked about and talked about. Well, now it’s done… mostly. You’ll see new things added to the site over the next couple of days. All in all, welcome to the new and improved much more robust Gamers Platform. One word of warning to all you Platformers out there: Sadly, you will have to re-register for the site as transferring the user accounts would have taken about 112 hours off database coding. I love you guys, but not that much.
