itle: Defense Grid
Publisher/Developer: Aspyr/Hidden Path Entertainment
Platforms: PC and Xbox 360
Release Date: 12/08/08
Number of players/Multiplayer: 1 no multiplayer
This is a review that’s going to be very short, because there’s not a whole lot to talk about. I sat back for days thinking of talking points, and there aren’t that many for a game in this genre. However, in any area that matters, Defense Grid shines like a lighthouse in a storm of bland Tower Defense titles.

Platforms: XBOX Live Arcade
Release Date: 08/19/2009
Number of players/Multiplayer: 1 player
This is a game which is near and dear to my heart for so many reasons. I can scarcely list them all without putting you to sleep. I’ll do my best to cram it all in somehow and hopefully still entertain and enlighten a bit. But then again, I’m the reviewer so being a bag of wind is my prerogative, so you may have to struggle through here and there as your fee for admission.

Well, for the Xbox 360 at least. Capcom announced today that MvsC will be released on the XBLA on Wednesday, July 29th, for a price of 1,200 MS Points. No news though on when the PSN version will be launched….sorry.
Enjoy the video though. Some Hulk and Zangief action; sweet.

Becoming available yesterday at the Xbox Arcade, were Meteos Wars and PowerUp Forever, both for 800 MS Points. Meteos Wars is a sequel, so to speak, from the DS version of the game, which was fantastic and addictive, and the Xbox version is looking like it will provide all the same frenetic gameplay. PowerUp Forever is a shooter where you blast your way to victory, taking on wave after wave of enemies and power up your weapons as you go for ultimate victory. The game also comes with a level generator, so every time you play, you’ll be looking at something new.
Also, come December 15th, two new Xbox Original games will become available for download; Sega Soccer Slam and Raze’s Hell, both for 1200 MS Points.

There is no stopping Capcom and all of the games they put out on multiple systems’ download services. They recently put out yet another title, Age of Booty, for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, and this one is a real-time strategy. How does it stack up to the competition? Arrrg ye scalawags and scurvy dogs, climb aboard to do some plundering, or else you’ll be walkin’ the plank, mate.
