Puchi Puchi Virus Review

Monday, March 24th, 2008 by Zach Potts

We all know that the Nintendo DS is the home for innovative games and we know for a fact that this is true because Puchi Puchi Virus is one of the games that really proves it! Puchi Puchi Virus is another typical puzzle game that will test your fast reaction time to the game as you solve more and more complicated puzzles right on your DS.

Puchi Puchi Virus is a game that will transform you into one of the doctors that will help save the humanity from the unknown Puchi Puchi Virus. With the help of the Nintendo DS Buster, you’ll be able to help the people working to fight the virus and save countless number of people that have been affected by it. The story sounds very childish and boring but don’t get discouraged as the game shines entirely on the gameplay itself.

As you start the game, you are shown various tutorials. Your mission in the game is to tap certain blocks to form a triangle. You must do this in a fast paced speed because if you fail to tap the next block that you’re planning to tap just to make a triangle, the block that you previously tapped will turn into virus, making you to start from scratch again. The game starts from being easy to fairly hard. One of the annoying things in the game is when you’re forced to do certain amount of chains in order to complete the mission.
