Tales of Vesperia- Complete Wonder Chef Locations

Sunday, August 31st, 2008 by Zach Potts

In every Tales game, the Wonder Chef has been known to be very mysterious due to being disguised as a lot of things, and it is up to the hero of each Tales game to find him so that he or she can get a recipe that cannot be found anywhere else!

In Tales of Vesperia there are 12 Recipes that you can get from the Wonder Chef, and the rest all depends on your character’s cooking skills. In this guide, we will point out every Wonder Chef!

Note: There are a total of 36 cooking recipes that you can get in this game. However, if you let a particular character cook the recipes learned from the Wonder Chef, a new recipe will be available. So basically, experiment with other characters

Vampire Rain: Altered Species to Have 3.8GB HD Install

Sunday, August 31st, 2008 by Zach Potts

ArtToon is at it again, giving Vampire Rain a chance to be a big hit for the Playstation 3 next week. When GamersPlatform received the review copy of Vampire Rain: Altered Species last week, we were surprised to find out that the game will have a 3.8GB mandatory install!

So, the people who are thinking of giving Vampire Rain a try should ready themselves for a 3.8GB mandatory install. It took me 30 minutes for the installation to finish…

Vampire Rain: Altered Speceis is due to come out this September 2 in local retail stores. Check back on Tuesday for a full review of the game! Will this game suck like the XBOX 360 version? Find out next week!

The Last Guy Review

Sunday, August 31st, 2008 by Zach Potts

The first time I glanced at The Last Guy on the Playstation Store, I had no idea what to expect. I wasn’t so sure how the game would turn out, but I’m glad I took the chance and tried it out. The Playstation Store has been on fire lately by releasing blockbuster titles such as the expansion to the Ratchet & Clank Future series and now a unique rescue-game called The Last Guy. With titles such as those, it shows that the Playstation Store has no limit when it comes to delivering games online.

Resistance 2 CE Details Revealed on Amazon.com

Sunday, August 31st, 2008 by Zach Potts

Well it looks like Amazon has spilled the beans on what will be contained in the Collectors Edition of Resistance 2, and I must say, it’s looking good.

Currently listed at $79.99, the bundle comes with more than enough to justify the price. It comes with a bonus DVD with a behind the scenes documentary, video commentary by the team and a “Twisted History” video detailing the history of the game thus far. It also will come packed with an exclusive multiplayer character skin, a double-sided Resistance art book and a sneak peek at the upcoming Resistance novel, “The Gathering Storm.”

Finally, the package is completed with a five and a half inch tall Chimera Hybrid action figure. That’s quite a lot, and is certainly a fanboys dream come true. While I usually am not suckered in by collectors edition, this is one of the few times that enough is offered. I’ll be preordering it, will you?

Socom Beta Delayed…Again

Sunday, August 31st, 2008 by Zach Potts

As most of us know, the public beta for Socom was set to go live on September 1st. Well, as was expected, things have changed. The public beta has been pushed back, luckily only by a few days. The beta will now go live on Sept. 5th for preorders, and Sept 12th for Qore users.

Luckily, because of the delay the beta has been extended to Oct 5th. It’s a bit of a bummer, but at least it’s not Life With Playstation(which also has been delayed…again)

Ninja Gaiden II Patch Finally Released

Saturday, August 30th, 2008 by Zach Potts

After two long months of Ninja Gaiden II being unplayable due to a freezing issue on cutscenes in every chapter, Tecmo has finally released a patch that fixes this issue and makes the game a lot smoother. This is indeed a good time to celebrate the 1,000,000 mark in sales of Ninja Gaiden II.

Now, you don’t have to clear your cache to play the game  Enjoy!

2 Hot Upcoming DS Titles

Friday, August 29th, 2008 by Daniel Sandoval

I warned many about how good The World Ends With You was going to be, and not many listened. What happened? They were left with a very disappointed DS system.

Now with the power of the internets I recommend DS owners two powerful titles. Hopefully everyone got a little wiser this time around.
