AC/DC Rock Band Track Pack Announced

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008 by Zach Potts

Earlier today, MTV Games announced Rock Band’s next track pack will feature 18 master tracks from AC/DC. The pack will be released in the US on November 2nd for all consoles aside from the Wii, whose track pack will be launched on November 16th, and be available in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand by early December.

The PS2 version will cost $29.88, with all other versions costing $39.88. Wondering about the odd pricing, with the $.88? Well, that’s what Wal-Mart does, with it’s unbelievable savings, and yes, for whatever reason, this track pack is a Wal-Mart exclusive.

All of these songs will also be available on both the Xbox 360 and PS3 via a download as opposed to a physical disc.

Cro-Mag Rally Review

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008 by Zach Potts

Cro-mag Rally is a racing game from Pangea Software, who has been bringing a lot of different games to the iPhone and iPod from a wide range of genres. How does this one compare to their others?

Like most of their games, the one thing they do get down really well is the controls. In Cro-Mag Rally, you steer via the accelerometers, and accelerate via an on-screen button, as opposed to automatically like in other racing games, so you have more control. You also have the ability to use weapons that you pick up, and these are used via another button which allows you to throw items either in front of behind you.
