Check this out! Adam’s NOT mad this week! Well, frustrated maybe, but not mad at the very least. I have to say that I can feel his pain here given the fact that this Sess-Feed was emailed to right at the same time that I am working my way through Resident Evil 5 (Yes, the review will be up soon. No, I don’t agree with Adam’s review of it either.) looking for all the BSAA emblems.

Sessler’s Collection Addiction
Wednesday, April 1st, 2009 by Ryan L. LopeesSessler Groans Like a Zombie
Monday, March 16th, 2009 by Ryan L. LopeesAt one point in my life I honestly found myself at odds with Adam’s opinions on most things. As of late, I happily swallow my pride and admit that I find myself nodding in agreement more and more often. Now, I am not sure if that’s because I’ve changed, he’s changed or someone is slipping something into the water. Either way, Soapbox Sess strikes again. Adam’s not dragging his feet like a zombie on this one…
Soapbox Round Up
Wednesday, March 4th, 2009 by Ryan L. LopeesThis week, Adam shares his views on M-Rated games and the wee little people. Personally, I think it’s up to the parents to be involved in their kids lives. Am I the only one who thinks that it seems like everyone and their sister/brother is looking for someone else to blame the problems of today’s kids on other than where that blame should really lie: the parents?
Of course, I think there are “some” types of games that should be off-limits. The problem is that an “M” rating is a pretty general scope. What’s “M” about it? I know, they add some reasons for the M rating on the box but again, it is just to broad of a label to me. Look at the difference between Grand Theft Auto 4 and The Lost and The Damned alone. Same game (and expansion) but you can certainly see that The Lost and The Damned is REALLY not geared for young ones whereas GTA4 itself was a lot more moderate when compared to the DLC.
Either way, if the parents are involved is it really a problem? Or is the issue more that many parents want to toss the controller in the kids hands so they can walk away and do whatever it is they want? Your call.
Sessler Says So
Wednesday, February 11th, 2009 by Ryan L. LopeesYes, yes, I know. I am giving Adam a lot of face time. I will admit, back in the day I didn’t agree with a lot of what he had to say. However, to be fair, the more time I spend reviewing games the more I am starting to see things from his perspective. Remember, when I say “reviewing games” I don’t mean playing them then coming to tell you my opinion. I actually sit with a pen and paper notepad and pause, taking notes as I play a title for review.
This week, Adam actually touches on something I bitched about a while back. The article was originaly posted in August and re-posted here after the site re-build in October. Read on for more…
X-play Plays Favourites?
Wednesday, February 4th, 2009 by Ryan L. LopeesOkay, if you’ve followed me at all on any of my numerous writing sources you know I’ve had some choice words about Adam Sessler, of X-Play, and his opinions. If you haven’t followed me… let’s just say they were some choice words and the phrase “corn-laden turd” was probably uttered at some point.
However, I am not a man of unwaivering and stubborn pride. When Sessler is right, he’s right and I can admit that. What happens when the supposedly “Xbox Loving” X-Play gives a PS3 game the highest score possible? Fanboys around the world flood 911 with Wahmulbance requests. Read on to see just how Adam feels about this…
